  • Do Not buy from Subaru Used Cars

There are drug dealers, murderers, rapist and child molesters, then there are used car salesmen named D J Rudolf . Do not do business with this slug of a human. He is a thief. He is the kind of salesman that if he wasn't selling defective cars, he would be an identity thief or burglarizing your home. He will look you in the eye and lie through his teeth without thinking twice. He sold me a defective vehicle, promised me I could trade it for another, and the told me to come back in a week. I found out that this was so he could turn in my paperwork before I could do anything. I am stuck... More...

  • Please don't go to JONES

I took my car in Sept 2013 for some electrical stereo repair work and was told that it was done and I could get my car. Went to get the car only to be told that now the car needed a new transmission costs $4700.00. The car just had a transmission put in it in Sept 2012 by Jones. By the way, I bought this car at jones used cars. I then had the car towed to Joppa Transmission to be told that the shifting cable was the problem. $350.00 YOU DECIDE!! More...

  • Run and Don't Look Back

If you are considering buying a car from Jones Junction please re-think...They have a F rating with the better business bureau and after they sell you the car good luck in getting anyone to call you back or even speak the truth....We purchased a STI Impreza from Subaru in Belair in July..the car went in for service in August only one month later with the check engine light on and and TG valves were sticking. The service department lifted the hood and told him his warranty was voided because he had installed after market parts. That was illigal to do with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act Law... More...

  • Jones Junction Service Center

I have had a few issues with my Santa Fe ( factory faults - not Jones) and although they have been costly and major issues, I have found that Jones's has been more than helpful and have taken very good care of us. They have given us a loaner right away, and have bent over backwards to help us with warranty issues. The staff is always very nice, and Mike Girken - the salesman we always deal with is phenomenal! He and his manager Wallace always seem to have time to say hi, and always remember who we are. We will definitely go back for our next car, I'm not sure it will be another... More...

Jones Junction Hyundai service center are thieves and dangerous to you and your family. Please read on... I had a recall on my wife's Santa Fe and also noticed a rear differential pinion seal leak, which is a warranty issue. We dropped the car at Jone Hyundai Service Center on a Monday evening. I got a call on Tuesday morning that the recall inspection was complete, and yes, the pinion seal was leaking. No surprises so far. Then it started.... First, the tech said the seal replacement would be $268. So I had to fax over paperwork to prove the issue was a warranty repair. Take note... More...

  • The first mistake I made was...

The first mistake I made was letting the completely incompetent mechanics at Jones Nissan fumble around with the electrical system on my Quest after I clearly explained that the battery was discharging, sometimes within a matter of a couple of hours. I even told them to check the wiring harnesses as my thought was a short direct to chassis. Their finding... a loose battery cable. Apparently they don't teach their mechanics that open circuits don't discharge batteries. I told them to keep looking and they then eventually decided it was the break switch ($275). Two weeks later,... More...

I don't understand all the negative reviews about Jones Junction. I, for one, had a very good experience there. My salesman's name was Rob Jones (no relation to the Jones' that own the place.) He was courteous, friendly, very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, took a test drive with me, and even took the time and patience to show me how to use the bells and whistles on the car that I was unfamiliar with. If I hear of anyone looking for a car, new or used, I would definitely send them to Rob at Jones Junction.

I had purchased y 06 sonata at another dealer and since they were near DC and I here in Harford county I sough Jones out for service. First they were to repair the paint flaw around the trunk lock. It took them 5 times to get it right. At the initial visit I stated they should replace the cylinder as this was the most likely cause. Again they had not done this till the last time. Also they used an after market vender (dent doctor) to do the job which Hyundai states voids warranties. The Main reason for this post besides the ineptitude of their management and repair staff is the repair needed for the flex plate (i.e. fly wheel). This item had a TSB (technical service bulletin) had been issued two months prior to my purchase of my new sonata. They stated the scratch on the transmission case (which is a foot away from said flex plate) as the reason for the bad flex plate. The cost was stated to 2k, I went to my trusted mechanic and got it done for 1/2 that. Now the real fun was Jones never let me know of the TSB. My mechanic is the one that enlightened me to this information. Hyundai has voided my warranty due to an after market vender (you remember dent doctor the vender Jones used?) yeah they can use such venders and we can't so instead of spending and fighting to get back 1k they would rather me pay them 2k and lose out all the more. At this point due to their inability to let me know of the TSB or that they did their best to put fault on me completely I am very unhappy with their service, honesty and their dedication to foregoing the truth. I hope others will get the opportunity to steer clear of this shoddy dealer.
